anatomy I am a dentist with a DDS degree from Georgetown University (1988). I graduated from dental school suma cum laude. I completed a hospital based general practice residency at the Boston V.A. in 1989. I have 14 years experience in private practice where the knowledge of anatomy was used on a daily basis. elementary (k-6th) I have a BS degree from Washington Univ., (St. Louis, MO)(1984) and a DDS degree from Georgetown Univ (1988). I graduated suma cum laude from dental school. I have 4 children ranging from grades 6th-10th. One of these children has special needs, and I have much experience in "turoring" him to help him keep to grade level, which he is. I have worked, academically with all of my throughout all subjects over the years. 3 of my children attend a very rigorous private prep-school. general computer I am a retired cosmetic dentist with 14 years of computer experience. I am, for the most part, self taught, and have configured and built my own computers. I currently work on both, a MAC for all graphics/photography work and a PC for financial, internet and other applications. I have an extensive library of both MAC and PC reference material on the use of PC/Vist/XP and the MAC OSX (Leopard and Tiger) operating systems. I have set up and maintained a wireless computer network in my home since 2001. I feel I am qualified to tutor general computer skills. photography I am a 45 y.o. retired cosmetic dentist. I used photography extensively in my years of practice as a tool for cosmetic procedures. In addition, I have completed B&W photography courses at Foothill college as well as 8 other online photography courses ranging from Macro photography to Journalistic photography to Landscape photography. I have completed numerous classes on technique sponsored by the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, of which I am a member. I have an extensive portfolio and currently market my work as stock photography. I have training in traditional film/dark room as well as extensive training and experience with digital photography. I currently shoot with a Nikon D2X. photoshop I am a 45 y.o. retired cosmetic dentist. I used photography extensively in my years of practice as a tool for cosmetic procedures. I often used Photoshop to enhance my images to show patients outcome potential. In addition, I have completed numerous classes on technique sponsored by the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, of which I am a member. I have successfully completed 8 online courses involving the use of Photoshop for Photography. I have an extensive portfolio and currently market my work as stock photography. I have an extensive library of resources on Photoshop basic skills as well as advanced editing techniques that have use in marketing material and graphic design work. I currently use photshop to edit all of my work which inclueds roughly 10,000 images. I have been using Photoshop since 2001 and currently have the latest verion of Photoshop which is CS3. I have completed online courses, as well, that cover the new features of the newest version. video production I am a 45 y.o. retired cosmetic dentist and have been doing videography as a hobby for 10 years. I currently shoot with a prosumer level camera the Sony DCR-VX2100. I have editing experience in both, PC based Premier Pro and currently edit on a MAC with Final Cut Pro (6.0). This is the latest version. I have completed numerous online videography and Final Cut courses as well as 3-4 day workshops in L.A. give by well known Final Cut educator, Larry Jordan. I have an, in-home studio where I currently have a 2-screen setup with 5.1 surround for editing work.
