About Dena:

I have a love of the French Language and culture and believe anyone can succeed at learning a foreign language. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in French Language and Literature, as well as a Master's Degree in Ministry and a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology. My experience in tutoring high school French has helped students not only succeed in classes, but also prepare for AP and CLEP exams. As a Teaching Assistant at the graduate school level, I bring plenty of experience in guiding students through complex learning processes in a way that is relevant and fun. My teaching style is very relational, meaning that the best learning occurs in the context of enjoying the person you are learning with and from. I'm interested in not only the subject matter, but also the student who is learning.
