Knowing music is NOT the same as loving music!!! It should spill from your heart and soul as water from a flooded river!! I have spent many years nurturing the music inside of me to the point in my life that I am today....closer to the realization that not only should one just 'play' music, as if it is being assembled by a robot or brain washed prisoner, but a TRUE musician FEELS the music, as if they are rising and entering into the proverbial 'light at the end of a tunnel'! When you feel as though you're floating or walking on air and an uncontrollable smile is present, not only outside, but within your very self, you have, what has been referred too, as 'the music IN you'!!! That feeling is so magnificent that I can't do it justice by putting it into words, which, by the way, is where song writing steps into the picture and intensifies the feeling twofold. This is where it ALL begins....the desire to create, as well as, feeling this wonderful gift called music!! |
