I'm currently a PhD candidate in Computational Neuroscience at the University of Chicago. I work on how "higher" levels of the brain process sound through the use of anatomy, physiology and pharmacology. My math and scientific background is quite strong. I've been tutoring various levels of math & science for over 8 years now. In addition, I have taught both graduate and undergraduate courses at the university (I'm actually teaching one this quarter...). My undergraduate degree is in Biological sciences with a minor in Chemistry. While working on my degree, I put myself through school working as a veterinary technician & a tutor.
What can I do?
I can help you or your child conquer Math & Science (and hopefully make it fun in the process). I can cover various scientific disciplines such as: Neuroscience, Cell Physiology, Biochemistry, Human Genetics, Molecular Biology... The list goes on & on.
When can I do this?
