About Gabrielle:

Hi! I'm a recent college graduate with two years of experience as a tutor. I can tutor all levels of math up to calculus, as well as vector and multivariable calculus, ODEs, and linear and abstract algebra. I have worked with both high school and college students.

I have the experience and training to work with various learning modalities/styles. I also have experience working with students to build study skills and overcome "math anxiety."

My teaching style is student-centered; my goal is to help students to build confidence while they build skills by guiding them to conceptual understanding. This plan allows students to take an active role in the learning process. It also increases knowledge retention. I will not simply provide answers, but I will teach you the skills you need to find them yourself.

My experience shows me that everyone, with enough time and effort, can become highly proficient in mathematics. Mathematical intelligence is a fluid--not a fixed--quantity. Math can and should be an enjoyable pursuit.
