Thank you for your interest in my tutoring services! I provide fun in-home tutoring for elementary students. I have been tutoring for almost four years now. I have worked at several elementary schools and am familiar with their framework. I currently work at a tutoring center in the afternoon, where I have experience tutoring K-12 students in all subject areas. I also have pre-admission to NAU's Masters in Education program next spring. I have a strong background in both elementary reading and mathematics instruction. I have a variety of fun phonics, reading comprehension, and mathematics materials that I bring to all of my sessions. Your child will not only learn concepts, but they will develop good learning and study habits. My goal is to help your student enjoy learning, so that they will be successful learners as they grow into adults! |

I have a BA in Education from CSU Chico. I have worked in several elementary schools, and I have experienced working with K-6th graders in all subject areas. I have extensive experience tutoring elementary students on phonics, reading comprehension, and mathematics. I am familiar with the California framework and base my instruction on state standards. I have experience with many teaching materials for K-6 levels.

I have business experience with all Microsoft office programs. I have experience teaching typing skills, including finger placement and speed increase. My own typing speed in 80 words per minute. I have worked with friends building custom computers for fun, so I have knowledge of the basic inner workings of computers as well.
