About Lauren:

I am a University of Arkansas student majoring in communication disorders and psychology. I have a great desire to work with people and help in any way I can. I graduated from high school in Spring 2007 from Academics Plus Charter School. This school possesses a rigorous college preparatory program in which i received my Associates of Arts Degree concurrent with my high school diploma. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA from high school and currently hold a 4.0 at the University of Arkansas. I have experience tutoring elementary school children both within a school setting as well as at the child's home or my own. I tutor to the child's level including games and new exercises that work on reaching certain objectives. I prefer to teach English- reading, writing, phonics, literature, and grammar. However, I do have experience tutoring in elementary math and social science. Also, I have experience working with children with ADHD as I was a mentor to several while working at Baptist Hospital and I have also tutored a child with ADHD.
