drawing I have been drawing since I was very young. I have always been very good at drawing cartoons -- I can draw any cartoon character out there. Over the last 7-8 years, I have developed my ability to draw pencil reditions of photographs and other real items. I feel that my self-taught experience will allow me to assit any child in learning how to draw both cartoons and realistic subjects. elementary (k-6th) I am certified to teach in NYS early childhood (birth-2nd grade) and am awaiting confirmation of my certification in Literacy through 6th grade. I have passed all NYS general and content-specific tests for the grades K-6. Additionally, I have extensive experience (both through college placements as well as paid work experience) in grades K, 1, 2, and 6. I have additional experience with tutoring children in all grades K-6. phonics My experience teaching preschool as well as my student teaching placements in Kindergarten and 2nd grade have given me a great deal of background in phonics instruction. I am very confident that I can assist any child in the development of phonics skills. powerpoint Powerpoint is becoming a standard even in elementary schools -- many students will be required, at some point, to develop a powerpoint presentation for a grade. I have a great deal of experience creating and showing powerpoint presentations. Throughout my undergraduate and graduate schooling, we were required to use powerpoint for many presentations.
