basketball I played middle school and high school basketball. During my freshman through junior years of college I volunteered as a basketball coach at a local organization for girls ages 13 through 15. elementary (k-6th) I am a fifth grade teacher and have access to much of the materials and curriculum that are being used across New York State. I have a 100% passing rate in the last two years in all fifth grade testing subjects, including ELA, Math and Social Studies. grammar In college I was the person that everyone went to in order to have papers proofread. I am constantly correcting the grammar of my students in both verbal and written forms. phonics Working in a school I have worked repeatedly in preparing young readers for their journey to become fluent. I've used whole language as well as Basal Reading programs in order to teach phonics. proofreading Similar to my knowledge on grammar, I have a firm grasp on the English language and so I feel I am able to proofread on any grade level.
