About Joann:

As the oldest by 7 years difference, I had the pleasure of helping my younger siblings as they were growing up excel in their school work by reviewing their homework each night, helping them learn new ways of understanding their coursework, and helping them get excited about what they are learning. This experience sparked a love for teaching that I have never lost. I have also recently tutored friends and family members in their college math courses. I have recently left my full-time position as a corporate manager to finish my degree. I plan to eventually teach full-time. I work well with all age groups because I am patient and I listen well. I work with each student to find their own special learning technique that will allow them to fully understand their course work. Math can be one of the easiest subjects to learn if you can understand it in a way that makes sense to you. You use math everyday, you just don't realize it and I can help you do that.
