About James:

I am a former High School Math Teacher who has had extensive tutoring experience during the past three years. I am currently working with high school students in Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry and Calculus. I have also worked with younger students in math, reading and language arts, and have had experience working with children with learning disabilities. I have a B.A. in Mathematics, and a Masters Degree in Education. I believe that the most important part of the tutoring experience for the student is gaining confidence in their ability to do the work. It is also important that the student is able to enjoy the tutoring, that it is not something to be dreaded. I have achieved success with my methods, and look forward to continued success.
