About Lauren:

I graduated from Miami University with dual degrees in Political Science and Social Studies Education. My student teaching was done on the Navajo Nation and I taught Special Education in that district for a year afterward. Currently I work for the National Wildlife Federation on a campaign. I tutored college peers throughout my college experience, and my teaching style is best described as making concepts concrete for students. I enjoy learning students' stories and relating concepts to their interests and building their confidence.
