I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Arts/Photography from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in May 2008 and I am currently enrolled in the Master of Science in Library Science program at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY. I was one of two nominees for the Spring 2008 Outstanding Graduate in Visual Arts honor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, have had my BFA Thesis Exhibition in December 2007 and have been in three exhibitions since January 2008. I am also a member of the Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars. Though my undergraduate concentration was in photography, I have excelled in drawing and have taken 18 credit hours of undergraduate English courses. Additionally, I have adult literacy tutoring experience.

  In May 2008 I will receive my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Arts/Photography. I have taken 6 credit hours of college level courses that were specifically related to Photoshop. I also have completed 6 additional credit hours of senior-level photography courses in which I worked directly with the Photoshop program.

  I have satisfactorily completed 12 credit hours of college level drawing courses at both the Maine College of Art (1990-91) and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (2005-2008). I had my BFA Thesis exhibition in December 2007 and I have had a very active exhibition schedule since then which includes: Gulf South Regional Contemporary Art Exhibit, Positive/Negative 23 Annual Juried Art Exhibition, and the 21st Annual McNeese National Works on Paper Exhibition. I am currently being represented by Gallery 912, Lafayette, LA and BECA Gallery, New Orleans, LA. I was nominated by some faculty members as the ULL College of the Arts Outstanding Graduate in Visual Arts.
