chess I am the Chess Coordinator/Instructor at the Elementary School where I teach. My school has integrated Chess into the 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade Math curriculum due to the fact that Chess increases critical thinking and problem solving strategies. I am responsible for instructing the other teachers on HOW to play the game as well as supplying the Chess Curriculum that our District requires. The age group that I currently teach in class is 7-8 yrs. I taught my own children how to play at age 6. elementary (k-6th) I am a Certified Generalist Teacher for Elementary Pre-K to 4th Grade. I am certified in Texas. I currently teach 2nd Grade Math and Science, and have tutored 1st to 5th graders in all subjects. sewing My BFA from Sam Houston State University has a specialty in Costume Design and Construction. I have been sewing since I was 10 years old, and can also Pattern Draft. I have worked in the Costume Department at Sam Houston, at the Alley Theater in Houston, and have been a professional Costumer for several movies and commercials that were made in Texas. theatre I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Theater Arts from Sam Houston State University. I have worked on several feature films and commercials in Texas prior to becoming a school teacher.
