special needs I have over thirty years experience in teaching students with special needs. I have taught students from pre-school up to age twenty-one. I have experience with students of all forms of disabilities, including all areas of learning disabilities, physical, and emotional handicapping conditions as well. My love of students with all forms of special needs and my success rate with their academic achievements, most definitely qualifies me to continue teaching them but now as a tutor. study skills Since I taught secondary students since 1979, study skills was a necessary part of everyday schooling. I taught both Academic Support and Resource Room to grades nine through twelve. It was in both of these school settings, that I helped my students achieve passing grades in their regular and inclusion classes. I assisted my students in writing term papers, writing colleges letters, and completing homework assignments. These classes also allowed me to assist my students in preparing for the New York State Regents Exams in all major subjects.
