About Kristin:

I am a college student at Lewis University and I have a 4.0 GPA, but that doesn't mean I'm a nerd! (Ok, so maybe a little bit.) I have been tutoring students of all educational levels since I was in 7th grade when I traded Spanish Lessons for English Lessons. I have tutored children in nearly every subject imaginable. I have experience with special needs students as well. I believe that any student can achieve well, when given the proper tools to do so. When I was a student at Joliet Junior College, I tutored for AmericaReads and AmericaWrites, which is tutoring for low-income students. Many of my students raised their grades a whole letter grade overall. I tend to use real-world examples as teaching models, more than some abstract thought or idea. What are you waiting for?
