About Michelle:

I have been a teacher for 11 years. I recently left the field of education to become a life coach.
I have taught students ranging in ages 6-19 in various educational settings. My dual certification has allowed me to gain experience in both the mainstream and special needs classrooms.
I have enjoyed teaching children of all ages but I have found that I enjoyed teaching middle school students the best.
My teaching style includes all the modalities - auditory, visual, and kinesthetic. It is important to me to create lessons that touch upon all the styles since each student possesses different styles.
I teach with a sense of humor as well. I believe including some humor while teaching helps students retain information since they can associate a fact with a humorous moment.
