I am a Professional Engineer with a specialty in plant and manufacturing engineering. I was a senior type engineer for a long career at Ford where I managed several multi-million dollar programs. I took a buy out this year.
My education was at the University of Detroit where I had a 3.25 average. Electrical engineers are required to take a lot of math courses.
I have worked for over 10 years in a volunteer math program in the Dearborn middle schools. This program called, Mathcounts, is sponsored by the Society of Professional Engineers. In the program, I coached teams of middle school students to compete with other area schools. On several occasions we won the competition and moved on to the state competition.
I can tutor algebra, geometry, trigonometry, college algebra, and pre-calculus. I can also tutor general physics especially the electricity and magnetism.
