I am a recent college graduate from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I'm looking to share my knowledge because I enjoy helping young people learn and succeed. I teach piano, general music, pre-algebra, SAT math, SAT reading, SAT writing, astronomy, biology, and general reading and writing. My teaching style includes using visual aids and I will cater to the needs of people of diverse learning styles. I will do my best to make learning easier and more enjoyable for you and help you succeed in your school subjects.

  Hello, I studied astronomy and I remember most of it. I believe I have a thorough understanding of planets, stars, the solar system, and other celestial bodies. Please let me take the test for it, as I would liket to teach.

  I would like to teach music composition because I have been learning the art and have a sufficient amount of knowledge to coach others with their creative goals. I know about the basics of melody and rhythm and song structure, as well as suggestions for what sounds good as far as harmony, key changes, and other aspects.

• elementary (k-6th)

  I would like to teach elementary students in any subject area: math, science, writing, reading, and music. I can teach these subjects and like to help little people with their learning difficulties.

• general music

  I have studied piano, guitar, flute, music theory and voice over the course of my youth and teenage years and believe I can teach general music. I know about scales, chords, harmony, melody, dynamics,and many other aspects of music.

• piano

  I have studied piano for over 12 years with three different teachers and on my own. I have taught piano lessons to several students already, all beginners. I personally have played for musicals, church congregations, popular bands, and high school choir. I love to play and on my own I play Beethoven Sonatas, Chopin Etudes, grieg, and other classics. I also dabble in jazz and blues, salsa, and popular music.
