photoshop I have extensive experience in using Photoshop, gained through over 10 years of professional graphic design and production experience (in which I was considered something of a specialist in image manipulation) as well as through a personal interest. I have also taught image editing and manipulation at the post-secondary level. In my professional career, I have used Photoshop to do photo-real creation of images from scratch, execute advanced retouching and compositing jobs, automate large image processing tasks, and create content for both print and electronic media. As such I can offer students not only methods for gaining the desired results, but for properly formatting and preparing images for a wide array of applications, from press to DVD to web. web design My web design abilities are a strong combination of technical site building capabilities and strategic design skills. I have HTML, Flash, JavaScript and image creation experience, and can help students plan, organize, and execute a project from concept to final coding. I am also familiar with W3C accessibility guidelines. However, I also bring over 10 years of strategic design experience, geared toward creating powerful effective visual communication, optimized to meet clients' needs. I can help students learn how to streamline websites and organize information to make them accessible, attractive and user friendly.
