Hola, hallo, salut, I am a Swiss native who grew up speaking French, German and Spanish (my mother is from Madrid). I've always loved languages, and after moving to Boston in 2002, I earned a teaching certificate from a prestigious language school. I have experience teaching at every level and to every age group, including children. I'm a very enthusiastic teacher and have in-depth knowledge of grammar and teaching techniques. I also have a certificate for teaching English as a foreign language, and I have more than a year of experience helping people learn the language. Although I love speaking and teaching different languages, my first love will always be music. I picked up the saxophone 15 years ago, and haven't put it down since. I received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in 2002 for my performing ability on the sax, but after arriving, I decided to change my major to jazz composition. I also have a second degree in music synthesis, and I have extensive experience teaching people at all levels to play the sax. I try to make my lessons fun and challenging, and my greatest hope for my students is that someday they'll be even better than I am.   I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a B.A in jazz composition and music synthesis. I wrote numerous arrangements and compositions for the Swiss Jazz Orchestra, Berlin Youth Jazz Band and many other small and large bands. I write music for tv and radio ads in the US and in Europe. I've studied and coworked with some of the finest jazz composers. Although I studied jazz composition, I am a very experienced in contemporary writing such as pop, r'n'b, rock, classical (Orchestral), salsa and electronic music.

• ear training

  Graduated from Berklee College of Music in Jazz Composition I have studied ear training for many years. Already before it was part of my education as I transcribed solos from my favorite musicians on a daily basis. Later on I transcribed music ranging from Pop, Classical, Jazz from small band to entire orchestral scores for a living. I can teach how to listen, what to listen for and how you have to approach the process to write down what you hear.

  I have played the saxophone for over 12 years. I have toured and played internationally with some of the top jazz legends such as Randy Brecker, Victor Lewis, Buster Williams, Wayne Bergeron etc. After auditioning for the european scholarship tour I received a scholarship to study at Berklee College of music. I've taught saxophone for over 8 years, beginners, intermediate and already advanced levels. I have experience teaching kids from 7 years and older to 68 year old students. I can teach any styles from classical, pop, rock, funk, latin jazz to jazz.
