About Benjamin:

Music is the major reason for applying here. I've been playing Saxophone for 7 years and Guitar (primary instrument) for 6. I've conducted private and group lessons through school and Collichio School of Music. I'm a member of the Hochstein Jazz Combo in Rochester, NY and have played in several groups. I practice around 3 hours a day on the days I can fit in practice. I know a strong amount of music theory with an emphasis on jazz, but do know the classical techniques. I've gotten recent NYSSMA solo grades of 95 and 96. Music is my strongest area of study. I also focus on Chemistry. I've taken Regents and Advanced Placement Chemistry with strong grades in both. Although music is my focus, I do excel in Chemistry as well.
