About Denise C:

In her 2nd career, Denise led Colorado surveying and monitoring on five orchid species for four years through a volunteer organization, Partners for Colorado Native Plants (PCNP) of Denver Botanic Gardens, and reporting to Colorado Natural Heritage Program (CNHP.) She has traveled the globe giving 40 presentations on orchid conservation as a member of the Orchid Specialists Group of the World Conservation Union (IUCN). She participated in an Amazonian Peruvian canopy study in July/Aug 2007. She completed a Biology BS with a Botany emphasis from Metropolitan State College of Denver in May, 2006. For 20 years in her 1st career, Denise operated her own company performing accounting and tax work by computer, including training secretaries to do accounting input.
