About Nisha:

I am a doctorate student enrolled in the naturopathic doctorate program. I am soon to graduate this June of 2008.I have 18 years of college education with extensive college degrees and hold a substitute teaching certificate in the state of Mo and Arizona. I have worked with many levels of education from k to college levels. My strongest background of tutoring would be in the biological sciences and chemistry with an emphasis in herbology and botany. Arithmetic and pre-algebra are also assets in my tutoring experience. I would love to tutor children who needs academic improvement and willing to spend long hours to tutor as much as possible to help students do well in their achievement I also have an emphasis in working with people with special needs pertaining from my master degree in social work. I also try to help students maintain organizational study habits and emphasize in reading and writing concepts. I am very fluent in American Sign language for hearing impaired students as well as Mexican Sign language for Spanish students. I would be more than willing to help any student in need of learning academically and achieve in their future. My greatest strengths in tutoring would be patience, honest, flexible, willing to do long hours and do whatever it takes to help my students. I feel that with my extensive education, I hope to be an asset to students who need my expertise to becoming something they want to be. I have taught a few college non credit courses in herbology and botany studies. Mostly i have tutored for a long time to all students of all ages. It is my compassion to tutor anyone. In the near future, I hope to attain a special ed degree since there is a large percentage of students with special challenges in need of tutoring as well as anyone who needs to strive academically to go to college and succeed.I also have experience tutoring ESL with many international students in need to improve their English language.
