About Ashley:

My name is Ashley and I am a recent graduate of George Fox University in Newberg, OR. I am friendly, patient and willing to tutor students at all levels. I graduated with a major in international studies and a minor in French. I have studied French throughout high school and college. For six months in 2007, I lived with a French family in Dijon, France while attending an intensive French language program at the Université de Bourgogne. During my senior year of college, I was a teaching assistant, conducting conversations with students and helping them with homework. I enjoy helping students understand grammar rules so they can integrate them into their speech. The ability to converse in a second language usually comes last in the acquisition process so it is helpful to have a solid foundation in grammar.
