About Jeremiah:

Hi, my name is Jeremiah. Im a surfer/scientist who grew up in south Orange County. Most surfers are stereotyped as being lazy beach bums but that definitely is not me. Through hard work, I made it into what many regard as the best public university in the world; UC Berkeley of course!! A major in Cognitive Science led me to work as a research analyst at the Laboratory of Neuroimaging at UCLA after graduation. I spent 2.5 years there while also tutoring math the last 8 months. During this time, I tutored both privately and also at a counseling/learning center for teens with substance abuse problems. I found this time to be very fulfilling as I was able to help their studies while being a positive influence as well. I left the States in 2007 to volunteer in various conservation and disaster relief projects South America. After a year there, Ive picked up Spanish quite well and would love to tutor this awesome language as well. Surf lessons also available!
