I am a graduate of 2 undergraduate programs at differnet phases in my life. I obtained my first degree in systems engineering in 1990 with strong core coursework in math, chemistry and physics. My second degree in education focused on integrated sciences- biology chemistry. I was also pursuing a nursing degree at the time, but completion of that has been placed on hold. As a teaching style, I like to determine first what strengths and weaknesses the student has so that a clearer picture of what educational pursuits would most efficiently reach the learning goals. I strongly believe that guided inquiry best serves the student's learning efforts.
