I am SC certified in Elementary Ed. and Special Ed. I have 12 years teaching experience in a variety of subjects and grades.I take what the student enjoys(hobbies,sports,etc.) and apply it to the subject matter. I feel the most important things I teach are study skills and to show students why what they are learning is relevant to their lives. Prior students have told me that they learn more with me in a matter of weeks than they had learned in the prior 6 months in their regular classes. My passion is helping students who are accused of not trying hard enough or may have even given up on themselves.I work with all academic subjects,but my strengths are language arts,basic math operations, Pre-Algebra, and Social Studies.
