I am a native Korean who came to study TESOL program in the U.S. My major is not directly related to teach Korean, but I have been through all the difficulties to learn English, which means I should have know the Korean system much better than English.
I can teach Korean well based on my experiences of learning a language. My teaching style will vary depending on your focuses.

Basically, I am entusiastic in teaching a language. Korean is my native language, but that doesn't mean I am born to a master of teaching Korean. Even though I don't have many experiences in teaching Korean, I can tell my passion of teaching can make me teach Korean, too. The thing that I can confidentaly tell is that I always compare what the difference between English and Korean when I learned English as a second language, which means the more I learned English, the more I had to know about Korean. That kind of learning process was really helpful when I taught English to Korean learners of English in Korea. When I taught English, I always explained Koreans how the Korean way of expressing opinions work in the English way of expressing opinions.
Also, the most important thing in my teaching philosopy is that I would like to guide language learners to reach their potential ability and to let them know that learning a language is to learn a way of communicating with people.
