  Music has always been a major part of my life, and I take great pride in bringing the world of music to others. I have spent many years developing my understanding of music theory, and have put that knowledge into practice as a professional performing classical guitarist and music teacher. I received my Bachelor's degree in Classical Guitar Performance from The City College of New York in 2007. As a performer, I attained an excellent knowledge of music theory ranging from classes on sight-reading, sight-singing, music theory and composition. Besides my specialization on the classical guitar, extensive piano playing was also a part of the curriculum. I graduated Magna Cum Laude, GPA 3.7 I also have an Associates degree in Audio Engineering. I have been a private music and guitar teacher for the past five years, first teaching private beginner classes while at college, and now offering my services to the general public. I have taught music theory to those who want to learn more about it or want to apply it to their own instruments, and as part of my guitar lessons, putting into practice the theory behind the music. I can teach all age levels and prefer beginner to intermediate level students.

I have spent many years developing my technique and obtaining my degrees, and I love giving all the knowledge and experiences I have gathered to those who ask. I received my Bachelor's degree in Classical Guitar Performance from The City College of New York in 2007. There I had extensive performance opportunities ranging from solo works to duets and trios. Style-wise, my experiences ranged from playing traditional classical pieces, atonal contemporary, spanish, tango, and many more. I graduated Magna Cum Laude, GPA 3.7 I also have an Associates degree in Audio Engineering. Although classically trained, I also have a love for many other styles of music. I am just as proficient on the electric and steel-string guitar as I am on a classical guitar. I have experience playing anything from blues, classic rock, hard rock, pop music, and heavy metal. I find that no matter what the style of music or the type of guitar, there are similarities between all of them, and thus I believe I have an advantage when tutoring students because my approach can be easily adapted to different styles and guitar types. I have been a private guitar teacher for the past five years, first teaching private beginner classes while at college, and now offering my services to the general public. I have experience teaching children as young as six to mature adults. I have taught in many different styles of music, and am always striving to make every lesson as fun and productive as it can be. I can teach all age levels and prefer beginner to intermediate level students.
