About Timothy:

I am a reading professor with twenty-five years teaching experience, from elementary up through graduate school. I taught ESL and reading for twelve years in Texas and Florida, plus thirteen years in teaching programs at the university level. In addition to training teachers in the latest reading trends and research, I was an assessor for the National Board Certification for the English-as-a-New Language certificate. I am listed in Who's Who Among Educators, as well as a Top Ohio Educator in the December 2005 Edition of Ohio Magazine. I received my Ph.D. in developmental reading from the University of Iowa. I am able to teach reading, phonics instruction, spelling, study skills, and ESL. I am also trained in authentic assessment and am up-to-date with the latest research in reading education.
