About Elizabeth:

Hello! Learning has always been very important to me. Throughout the years I have had the opportunity to teach and train individuals of all ages, all learning abilities, and those with and without special needs. I supervised a large elementary school afterschool program, and worked as substitute teacher in response to personal requests from the teachers at the school. As a graduate student, I served as a teaching and research assistant. I also taught undergraduate psychology as an adjunct professor after completing my master's level coursework. As a psychology resident, I enjoyed providing education to patients and their families on both a formal (classroom) and informal basis. My specialty is neuropsychology, therefore, I can also help you understand brain anatomy and physiology. I believe my strength in teaching comes from an innate ability to meet each individual at his or her own level. I try to present information in a variety of ways to enhance the learning experience. I strive to make learning fun, interesting, and exciting. I look forward to working with you!

My graduate level coursework from an APA-accredited university included successful completion of courses in Research Design, Advanced Statistics, and Multivariate Statistics I and II. I have also carried out independent research for my dissertation, professional research presentations, and published papers. I have primarily used SPSS. Within this context, I am qualified to tutor basic statistics.
