About Kim:

My education includes the following: BA in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Child Development, Multiple Subjects Credential, Learning Handicapped Credential, Cultural Language Academic Development, Masters Degree in Special Education, Phd in Higher Education in progress. I have over 20 years experience in Education ranging from preschool to high school and I am now working on adult school and community colleges. My skills include developing instructional support for visual/auditory/tactile learners, as well as ADD/ADHD and emotional/behavioral disturbances. I have successfully increased scores on state exams such as the STAR and the High School Exit Exam. Also, I am very effective with collaboration with teachers in effort to develop accommodations/modifications for success in the classroom. I have many years experience with IEP's and can work with students and parents on consultations in that area.
