About Jeff:

Hi! My name is Jeff. I am a recent graduate from Cal State University Long Beach where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish. I have studied the Spanish language for many years and am knowledgeable in the areas of linguistics and literature. I am currently enrolled at CSULB in the Single Subject Credential Program with the goal of becoming a high school Spanish teacher. I would not only like to gain more teaching experience through tutoring but also to share my passion for the Spanish language with others. I am also passionate about education in general because I am a constant learner myself. My goal in tutoring is to impart my passion and enthusiasm to the student. It is my belief that if this enthusiasm is achieved, learning becomes not only fun but practically effortless. I emphasize the applicability of the Spanish language to daily life in southern California and the unique opportunity that it provides to expand cultural awareness.
