I am a 23 year old student at Eastern Michigan University. I am currently a substitute teacher for Wayne County, MI Public Schools, and have experience working and teaching children from kindergarten through 12th grade. I also have experience and thoroughly enjoy working with special needs and resource room kids who just need someone with a little more patience and understanding to give them the attention they deserve.
I am very knowledgeable in all areas of English and Grammar, as well as American History, Prealgebra, General computers and typing, as well as any K-6th grade subjects. I have also recieved a personal training certification from International Sports and Sciences Association in 2005, and am capable of teaching fitness and sports training material.
I am very flexible and able to come to your home to work with your child one-on-one any day during after-school hours and on weekends. |

I feel qualified to tutor in general subjects for grades kindergarten through 6th grade. I am currently a substitute teacher for Wayne County Public Schools, and have experience teaching children ages 5-18 in a variety of subjects and settings. I have taught everything from Kindergarten classes to Elementary English, Math, Social Studies, Science, and Language Arts. I have learned great teaching techniques by being able to be subjected to a high number of different students everyday, all who have different learning abilities and techniques. I have also taught in resource room and special education classrooms, which has taught me the basics of helping children who need more patience and understanding.
