About Genevieve:

I am an easy-going, creative individual. I am a freshman majoring in Anthropology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I love to write and read, and was an AP English and AP Spanish student in high school. I studied violin from the age of four up until my senior year in high school, and was part of an orchestra that toured Spain and Portugal. I am very artistic and work well with others and children. As far as teaching goes, I believe in first understanding how the student comprehends a subject, then going forward from there. If a student learns best from example, then I'll be sure to include many examples in the curriculum. I have informally tutored others in English and Art with satisfactory results.
