About Erich:

My name is Erich and I really love working one on one with students in need of a little extra help. I have bachelors’ degrees in Liberal Arts and Psychology with minors in Philosophy and Ancient and Classical Studies. History, Science and Writing are my specialties but am knowledgeable in many other areas. I am a pilot and a bass player and am very passionate about teaching. I structure my tutoring to each individual student. Children learn in different ways, and I have found that a majority of students who are 'lagging behind' are either not challenged or interested, or the classroom environment they are in does not stress the particular style of learning that best suits the student. I strongly believe that getting a child genuinely interested in a topic while facilitating learning in a way the child feels most comfortable is key to success.
