About Diana:

I am certified to teach mathematics in grades six through nine. I have taught sixth grade for the past three years. In addition to my normal teaching duty, I have spent the last two years teaching an additional eighth grade pre-algebra class to assist my school and to tutor students who need the additional help.

I have always enjoyed mathematics, and because of that, my students seem to better understand the subject matter. The students I am currently tutoring after school have said that they understand pre-algebra a lot more when I explain it. They have asked me if there is anyway that I can be their regular teacher.

I think if you truly enjoy a subject, it comes through in your teaching style. With me, I start with the basics to catch all my students and quickly build upon that.
