I enjoy working with younger students and have a good rapport with them. I have taught reading to many elementary school age children and have helped them dramatically improve their reading, vocabulary and comprehension skills. My background as an undergraduate psychology major has also helped me understand and help children with attention problems. My graduate degree in journalism has provided me with a stron backgrouond in vocabulary and writing. I am very patient with children and truly enjoy helping them and seeing them improve their learning skills in the areas of reading, writing, math and social studies.
