About Susan:

Hello. I am a certified teacher for grades K-6. I have been a substitute teacher in many grades. I taught Kindergarten for 2 years where I focused on phonics and taught children to read. I taught 1st grade where I continued the reading education started in Kindergarten. I have been a remedial math/reading/english teacher working with a variety of elementary ages and learning styles. I have most recently taught 6th grade for 2 years and find that I relate well to pre-teens. I also have 4 children of my own that vary in age from 21 to 4 years old.
