accountancy I am currently undergoing study preparations to take the required CPA Exam. I have taken two years of accounting at college. This includes: Financial Accounting 101, Managerial Accounting 102, Payroll Accounting 110, Acct 111 Federal Income Tax Accounting, Acct 113 Business Income Tax Acct, Sarbanes Oxley Acct 215. I have maintained about a 90% average through all these classes. I will be taking another semester of classes in summer or autumn to get the certificate for Staff Accountant. I enjoy accounting and I plan to make it my life long profession. baseball I spent my childhood as a baseball player. I throughly enjoyed the sport. I was a pitcher, batter, and outfielder. One team I was on came close to winning the championship. Baseball can now be played interactively when the field is wet or it is raining. The Wii- Nintendo Gaming Console- system has a baseball game that is very realistic and helps players get a good warm-up. I would recommend that as an aid to my students. I enjoy the sport and thus would love the opportunity to help others become masters at it. general computer I have all the general computer skills. I began using a computerized typewriter in junior high school about 17 years ago. Afterwards I used pc computers and then laptop computers. I know windows 98, windows xp, and windows vista. I can do all the computer functions such as saving files, writing files, downloading files, uploading files, searching the internet, checking email, scanning, printing, setting up a website, etc. I have extensive experience with Microsoft Word, and Excel. I have spent countless times helping parents figure out problems on the computer. guitar I have about four years on the guitar. I am well versed in basic music theory as it applies to the piano and the guitar. I can teach anyone the basics so they can start playing the guitar. The guitar consists of learning the six strings, how to tune the guitar, and the different placements of the hand in playing chords. The easiest chords to play are the open chords. At more advanced levels you play chords up and down the entire guitar. This takes a tremendous amount of patience and practice. Eventually the hands get a feel for these positions. The other element of guitar playing is of course the single string playing of the guitar. This requires a knowledge of all the different notes of the guitar. All of this takes time to learn, but it is generally not so difficult. My main knowledge in more detail is playing chords on the guitar. Chords are what makes a song possible. You have about 4-7 chords in any basic folk or rock song. These chords repeat themselves in patterns. Chords are the basis for learning how to write songs. So my emphasis is on playing chords, learning to play regular songs, and to eventually create your own patterns so you can write your own songs. I'm only an intermediate guitar player specializing in playing chords or rhythm guitar. piano Hello I am musician that has played piano for over a decade. I have two years of classical piano with a private instructor. After those two years I played sheet music from various popular songwriters and began playing in bands. I have written my own songs, as well. I can teach all the basics to get someone started in playing chords and songs. And I can teach anyone how to read music. songwriting Hello, I have written numerous songs alone and in conjunction with other musicians. Writing a song is a unique process. It takes a lot of time to form the overall structure of the music and the lyrics. I have been engaged in writing songs for at least a decade. This includes work done in bands and on my own. Some of the songs I have written including music and lyrics include: "Tomorrow Will Be Another Day," and "Remember Me." The lyrics of songs I have written, which were in conjunction with a guitarist are "Believe," "Reckless Drifter," "Rise," "Drown," and "Time." Those are a few that are being sold on the internet. There are many others as well. theatre Although not an actor professionally or at college. I have extensive experience in acting as a child and teenager. A participated in numerous college projects for my brothers film school diploma. I was regarded as being a good actor. I have a good sense for acting and drama.
