“Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it”. I graduated from Colorado State University, CO with a Masters in Biochemistry in 2003.
I have had excellent opportunities to teach general chemistry during my graduate studies. I have worked as a teaching mentor for freshmen, a position that involved instruction in methods of laboratory projects and development of course materials.
Among the most satisfying experiences for me as a teacher has been instructing students on an individual basis as a tutor in our university labs. Even as a classroom instructor, I find that I always look forward to the individual conferences that I hold with my students several times during the semester because I believe this kind of one-on-one interaction to be essential to their development as aspiring scientists.
It is vital to think outside the box to bring a new life and excitement to LEARNING, and isn't that what it is all about?....The curiosity to delve deeper?
