I have 16 years of public education experience teaching grades 9-12 which included language arts and reading. I also have taught at the middle school level for math, reading and social studies. In addition, I am an educational diagnostician having worked with campus staff, students and parents in developing Individual Education Plans. I have been an assistant principal and director of special education with extensive experience working with students with ADHD, Learning Disorders, Behavior Disorders, Emotional Disturbances, as well as with students in the general education classroom which includes Sec.504 students or Response to Intervention (RTI) students. “Student’s failure in many cases is missing skills rather than lack of ability!”
