I am currently a school director with both an elementary education and early childhood education background. I graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. During college, I student taught children ages kindergarten through sixth grade. I taught kindergarten for a few years after college, and now am a director for a private school. I have a current Indiana Teaching License and have experience as a private tutor. I have tutored children ages kindergarten through high school and would love to continue to tutor for you! |

I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Indiana. To complete this degree, I had to go through extensive training with elementary students of all ages. Coursework included child psychology, children's literature, mathematics for elementary teachers, science teaching, and lesson planning and classroom management for all elementary grade levels. After college, I tutored various students of all elementary age levels, mostly mathematics and reading/spelling. I also have experience teaching kindergarten and working with children and their introduction to reading. I feel I have the experience needed to tutor elementary aged students.

proofreading

I am currently a school director for a private preschool and use proofreading in an everyday setting. I must write and proofread letters sent home to parents and letters sent to our school's home office. I oversee the lesson planning of 15 teachers who must have error free grammar (both speaking and writing!). Proofreading is a large portion of what I do!
