Hi! I am Theresa. By profession I am an accountant with 15 years of experience. I am a University professor in the Philippines (University of the East, Colegio de San Lorenzo-Quezon City, Phil). I love the profession of teaching. I want to be able to help students in accountancy to learn and appreciate this unique field of profession. Being an accountant is noble because we are the "business radar" as to viability, profitability and efficiency of the business. All these informations help management in making sound decisions. More good businesses, more jobs for everybody.
My passion is playing the piano as well. I have studied piano for 12 years (since 6 years old til college). I have taught children to play the piano several years back. I help children learn appreciate this wonderful instrument. They learn to read the musical notes which inevitably helps them improve in their music subjects too.
I love tutoring kids. I have kids myself and I tutored them all ymyself. Right now, they are doing good in class (mostly with A's) in Rowland Schools. The most important thing I learned in teaching kids is that, their motivation should come from within in order to be the best that they can be.

I am a Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines. I am a practicing public accountant for more than 15 years.
I am an accounting professor at the University of the East (Philippines) and Colegio de San Lorenzo (Philippines)
I am approved by the California Board of Accountancy to sit for the CPA exams this 2008.
I have worked in an accountinf firm in Larchmont, Los Angeles, CA. I am an accounting manager in one of the private companies in Los Angeles.

elementary (k-6th)

It is my passion to tutor children in their school subjects. I have four children who are currently in elementary, middle school and high school which I have tutored myself. They have been garnering mostly A's in their subjects. With this experience, I have learned that children has to be "motivated from within" to be able to be the best that they can be.
Motivating a child is a combination of intellect and feelings. It is both a skill and an art to deal with the child individually. Every child is unique, distinct from the rest of the world.

I have a formal education in piano. I started my piano lessons since 6 years old all the way to college years. I have 12 years in total of piano education. Every year, I attended piano recitals. I play classical pieces of Mozart, Chopin and the likes.
I have taught piano lessons in the Philippines. My students didn't only learn piano but did well in their music subjects too.
I also play the Organ and Marimba instruments.
