If you could teach everyone in the world one thing, what would it be?
If I could teach the world one thing, it would be to do the right thing when no one is looking. This is known as integrity. If everyone knew and practiced integrity then the world would be a safer place. A driver wouldn’t have to worry about another driver being drunk and possibly killing them in an accident. A mother would not have to worry about sending her child to school to possibly be bullied. This would start a chain reaction thus making the world an overall safer place. The crime rates would drop because people would be doing the right thing rather than attempting to rob a store or a house or trying to kill someone because of where they are from or how they look. Everyone would be accepted for who they are because it is the right thing to do. Teenagers wouldn’t pick on another kid because he is smaller than them or because he speaks in a different way than them. Everyone would get along and it would bring peace and happiness. But in order for something like this to be a reality, everyone must know integrity and everyone must practice integrity. Without integrity, we do things for our own personal gain or to try and make ourselves feel better even if it is wrong and hurts others. It is for all these reasons that if I could teach everyone in the world one thing it would be practicing integrity.
