Finding Happiness
Two summers ago my band working on a cd and none of us knew how to edit, so I decided to sign up for an audio production course. This class is where I figured out what I wanted to be part of. The things you can do with a certain sound is like art. Everyone has his or her own interpretation of a song and you can make it really come alive in music. Music is such a powerful thing; it can convey so much emotion without even using words. Another thing music can do is that it can bring people together. Anyone around the world can understand music, because there is only one language. To me the thought of being able to produce things that people will participate in is very exciting. I have edited video, taken photos, recorded bands, and I even made a couple logos for friends. I have a lot of fun doing and even learning about how all of these different mediums work. I will be attending SF State in the fall semester of 2013 for the schools Broadcasting and Electronic Communications Art major. I would like to open up my own studio one day. Being able to do all aspects of production are very important to me. Music is a huge part of my life, and being able to share this music with other people makes it so much more enjoyable. Through my experiences I met a lot of new people and learned many things that I would have never knew if I didn't explore my options. In order to find what really makes you happy you need to take some time for yourself and go out and explore; because you never know when you might come across the thing you are crazy about.
