What is the most important lesson you have learned in your life?

Somebody Cares

Structured period of time where learning is intended to occur, in life as we are young, is generally speaking what we call an important lesson. As teenagers feeling as if our lives are disintegrated, we forget the lessons we were taught and possibly never attained knowledge of. The most important lesson will be the one that is most remembered in current situations, everyday life, and the future. The biggest,, most important lesson for myself? That is how much a person can care for one another.

At a point in my life, I felt disintegrated myself. Life felt completely uneventful, boring, constant. Long story short, I needed a little excitement. That means sneaking out with some friends I should not be with. With that happening, my parents found out (they always will know!) and I was in huge trouble. My mother was terrified of what could have happened to me, and was sobbing, not knowing where I was or who I was with. My dad, his heart was racing and his mind was thinking of the most terrible situations I could get myself into. I learned after so much lecturing, that my parents truly love me. People honestly care. I thought nobody really could have cared that much until now. They care about my health and well-being.

Breaking their trust, the bond that we share, is a mistake and a lesson I have learned. There is always someone, or even a few people, that truly care about you and the choices you make. Your life affects them greatly in some way. Sure, one may think it is “their life” and they should be able to do whatever they wish. However, it affects those that love them.
