The Composer's Brain

This is a performance by the Central Michigan University Symhony of an original piece for orchestra that I composed. It is a figurative depiction of the literal brain of the composer (myself), and it matches parts of the brain with parts of the orchestra. "The Composer's Brain" won CMU's fourth annual orchestral composition competition, because it reflects a variety of scales, timbres and effects while utilizing the same motifs from start to finish to keep the piece cohesive.
