I have long considered submitting additional blog entries here to my WyzAnt blog, but there is a very important reason that I have chosen not to. WyzAnt requires me to agree that anything I post on my blog becomes the property of WyzAnt, including all copyrights. That’s simply not something I’m willing to do. I love WyzAnt, and I don’t want to turn you off of WyzAnt. WyzAnt provides an outstanding service both for me as a tutor and for you as a student or parent; I’ve used a variety of outlets for providing my tutoring services, and WyzAnt is by far the best I’ve found. If you would like additional information from me on education topics, feel free to ask me for my thoughts on any topic that interests you.

Though I do travel to meet you, time and distance are important factors in making this work feasible and profitable for me, so I try to find locations that minimize my travel time, while also providing convenience to you. General- All sessions are billed in 5-minute increments. - All sessions will be charged beginning at the scheduled start time, unless I am late, in which case, the session time will begin when I arrive and charges will be assessed accordingly. - If a session goes past the scheduled end time, you will be charged until the session is complete, in 5 minute increments. I am now offering Regular Lessons for Reading, for Writing, for Reasoning, and for Study Skills. These Lessons are available for students at all levels through College. Before beginning lessons, each student will receive an initial assessment to determine his or her level before beginning lessons. Each lesson will be one-on-one and will be geared directly to that student and his or her development. Reading lessons will include word formation, phonics, pronunciation, vocabulary, spelling, speech-reading, speed, comprehension, and recall skills. Writing lessons will include penmanship, word formation, vocabulary, spelling, essay formats, poetry, fiction formats, structure, and grammar. Reasoning lessons will include deductive logic, inductive logic, math reasoning, science reasoning, memory skills, and pattern thinking.
